Who said that sports cars are expensive? The new model of the French company MPM Motors, the MPM Erelis , arrives in Spain. The company affirms that it is "the first sports car for all budgets". Part of the 15,995 euros , so its price is quite tempting, but let's see what this car really offers us.

Aesthetically it may not be the most colorful, but it's always appreciated that we can have a sport alternative for a really affordable price. This model seeks to serve a young audience . In Spain it will be marketed very soon, with warranty of 2 years or 200,000 kilometers .

Constructed with lightweight materials

According to the official statement, this model manufactured very close to the French capital uses very interesting technical solutions for construction . These include the use of a tubular chassis and composite body , which allows it to be between 10 and 25% lighter than models of similar size. According to its technical sheet, the empty weight is 1,240 kilos.

Respect to the engine , this model uses the 1.2 PureTech PSA origin , the same used by models such as the Peugeot 308 or the Opel Grandland X. It is a three-cylinder engine that develops a power of 130 HP and 230 Nm of maximum torque. It is associated with a six-speed manual transmission. Unfortunately, we still do not have data on features such as acceleration or maximum speed.
